UPM PAC Candidate Endorsement Procedures and Criteria

Criteria

Candidates interested in UPMPAC endorsement, please read the following information.  If  you would like to pursue UPMPAC endorsement you may obtain a questionnaire by contacting the UPM Secretary. Interested candidates should contact the UPM office at Secretary@UPM.website to request a questionnaire.

Process for candidate endorsements:
  • We will send out a candidate questionnaire for all candidates who request questionnaires.

  • We will research the voting record of incumbents.

  • We will inform contributing PAC members of our choices.

Endorsement Criteria:
  • Experience in education

  • Environmental awareness

  • Commitment to equity for students

  • Commitment to equity for instructors, both full-time and part-time

  • Awareness of our student population

We can endorse candidates in several possible ways including:
  • Letter of endorsement

  • Financial contributions

  • Volunteer activities
